Decans in Astrology

 

As you explore astrology further you come to realisation that, just 12 signs are too long of a duration, and a somewhat finer grade division is needed to address more nuanced details of each individual placement. Each astrological sign is 30 degrees long, which is a lot. Some people who are born under the same sign are very different from one another. Early degrees of the signs are very different from late ones. A solution are decans that divide each sign in three equal parts of 10 degrees each, 3 is exact number as number of modalities: cardinal, fixed and mutable, so you might extrapolate these into three equal sections of the sign,

First Decan is where sign begins and where work consists in brining the change the sign is about. Its a transition from the previous sign, so some vestiges of that sign still remain, but they are gradually disappearing. Placements in first decan has this brining change quality about them. They are optimistic and think their ways solve it all so no need to worry about it. They are also are flexible about getting things done and willing to compromise to a certain extend to get things done. Earliest degrees are by far most energetic and flexible, but that gradually wanes as those close to second decan feel more power and see less and less reasons to compromise on anything.

Second Decan is where sign is at it most stable. All change is fully implemented and now we are just living the role of the sign. Its the most pure but no necessary the most stereotypical form of the sign, with next to no admixture of neighbouring signs. People here have hard time seeing alternative ways or points of view, for them there is but one way and they rush ahead without looking around. The very middle of second decan (15 degrees in the sign) is its most

Third Decan is where sign is waning and gradually comes to an end. The way of the sign finally shows its shortcomings, and it become obvious that things do not work as intended and thoughts that change is needed begin to appear. However natives of third decan often refuse to just give up and try to preserve all or some of their sign character. Natives here are pessimistic and finally see that things coming to an end but they do not want to just accept that. Instead they want to prevent things from changing. Early 3rd decan is about melancholic reflection that its not all it ought to be and thinking of potential solutions. Early 3rd decan are thinkers. Final degrees however is kind of last stand mentality, where no matter how desperate the situation and how pointless the resistance, they just refuse to let go. They are the kind of people who fought battle of Shiroyama and still defended the Reich in May of 1945.

Overall decans allow one to give more fine interpretation of each sign as well as each particular placement within the sign. Taking decans into consideration will allow one to have better idea of what each placement really entails for each native.

Pisces in Astrology

 

Last but not the least we have Pisces. Pisces are two fishes bound together by a thread and swimming each in different direction. Some also say that one fish is slightly bigger than the other. By far the most complex symbol of all astrological signs. It does represent Pisces rather well: it does not make sense and so are often Pisces natives themselves.

Agriculturally winter comes to an end, but it's still too cold and therefore too early to begin new agricultural season. Winter have ended, but spring have not yet begun. Plans and preparations for the future was made during Aquarian period.  There is really nothing to do at all. This period is a time of reflection on all that happened last year as well as on life in general.

Reflection and often associated sentimentality and nostalgia is more of a character of Piscean season. Piscean natives do sometimes exhibit these traits but not always. Even if they do exhibit these traits, it more due to Mercury, Venus, Mars or Jupiter being in this sign, rather than Sun or Moon. Somehow just before stepping into the new future, we hesitate, second guess and look back to things we liked in the past. Piscean season is the time when all sort of things from long bygone eras suddenly resurfaces and even become briefly fashionable again. 

You do no need imagination to get the idea what it looks like as we experiencing it right now. For the last 14 years Neptune was in Pisces and all sort of nostalgia for 80s, 60s, WWII, 20s, Victorian Era, Crusades Era and even Roman Empire suddenly became a thing. People were and still are talking about vintage things and so on. Compare that to early 2000s when newer was always better. You do not need imagination to understand what world of nostalgia is, you are right in it. You need imagination or long enough memory to remember what it was before nostalgia became so pervasive.

Being last of the signs, Pisces has two distinct qualities. One is being a sort of filler that fills the gaps left by other signs. The other is being wise, absorbing all the knowledge and experience of the signs that came before. Each of these traits require further explanation to really make sense of so I will be being with the former.

Being the last sign, Pisces fill in the gaps, left by other signs. All the signs prior to Pisces have their unique distinct role and character to match that role. That all good and well but sometimes there are roles outside of these. Who will do them and why. The answer is Pisces. Already being of very adaptive and flexible water, element, Pisces are further enhanced by being mutable as well. That leaves them rather devoid of personal aspirations and drives. That way they can instead support others and fill the roles left over by others, like wine fills the barrel. Being last often means picking up leftovers left by others. However, many Pisces do find joy in doing these and other things. Generally, Pisces like being useful to someone.

That leads us towards another trait peculiar to this sign, masochism. Despite writing a lot about BDSM, I have yet to mention it in any of my astrology articles. That is because the most BDSM attuned sign is the last in the chart. Well one can argue that Scorp or Capricorn have certain dom qualities, that is somewhat true. However, being a dom myself, I would not be interested in writing about competing doms. One can also argue that Virgos lean towards being a sub, but they are more obedient to the rules than loyal to master. Females and less likely males, of some other signs, like Aquarius or Sagittarius, could lean towards masochism as well. That said you should look at all planet placements to get the full picture.

However, no one is more of a definitive masochistic sub slave than Pisces. Pisces live to serve and can truly thrive being a sub. Such a role can give them sense of belonging and attachment to someone. They find comfort knowing someone needs them. Remember the bound by a thread part from a Pisces symbol, that is about it as well. Pisces, both male and female, is clearly a definitive sub.

When Pisces cannot find that in real life, they sometimes search for it in religion or even some crazy cults. Here lies danger of them joining some crazy death cult or killing themselves over rejection.

Christianity was likely invented by Pisces. Official birthday of Jesus (Christmas, 25 of December) makes him Capricorn, but historians argue that historical Jesus was likely born at a different date. I will add that most likely he was Pisces. Generally, a religion where God both commands people, but also loves them will appeal to Pisces more than to any other sign. 

Compare that to other signs. If Taurus would create religion we would worship trees instead, there were historical precedents of such religions in the past. Aries will create something like Norse, where being a warrior is the only virtue and dying in battle is the only way to heaven. Gemini could create Gnostism, worship chaos, or absurdity, or death like in Ancient Egyptian Religion. Leo will create something akin to Sun cult or Sol Invictus of late Rome. Virgo will create Methodism. A Libra can also create something like Ancient Egyptian Religion or Gnostism or even esoteric Vajrayana Bhuddism that focuses on enlightenment and reaching Buddhahood and Nirvana through intellect and meditation rather than karma or pacifism. Scorpio will create a secret cult, like Free Masonry. Sagittarius will create self-absorbed Hellenic/Roman gods. Capricorn will likely create Judaism, Jehovah Witness, Mormonism or Puritanism. Aquarius might second Gnostism or Egyptian gods but likely reject them all as silly superstitions. None of these lasted as much as Piscean Christianity, that shows how much more this sign is attached to their god or how they could manage to appeal to everyone.

Now for the latter part. Piscean wisdom. Pisces have absorbed all knowledge and experience of the signs prior and have reached secret divine truth, that no one else could perceive. Now they live in accordance with this knowledge. Since they reached this divine knowledge, they transcended the common sense and petty concerns that other more mundane signs still have. Because of that their actions often make no sense to other people. Either that or they themselves have no idea what they are doing. However regardless of whether its former or latter, it will look the same to people around them.

Pisces are sometimes hard to understand. They do things other will not think of doing and often unexpectedly at that. Reliability or predictability is not this sign strong suit. They are very emotional, while they are not as famous for mood swings as Cancer, emotions do control them and that has to be taken into consideration when dealing with them. They can snap and do something stupid on whim, leaving someone to pick up the pieces. I would even say that Cancer may frown, rage or complain, but is more likely to keep it together than Pisces.

When it comes to work, all sorts of people care work is suitable for Pisces. They can be nurses, babysitters, daycare, age care, primary school teachers, all sorts of advisors and so on. Hospitality work, such as restaurant server or any hotel role is also their thing to do. Being a water sign, they typically enjoy company of people and enjoy being useful to them. They can also be an ecologist, though plants will not interest them as much as people. That said you can probably convince Pisces to do anything if you tell them, it helps people and make them useful. They do not brim with eagerness to work, like Capricorn but will not fuss out of work and protest like Libra or Gemini.

When it comes to romance female Pisces have clear advantage over male ones. Pisces are so feminine, they attract men like magnets without doing much. They look as helpless, vulnerable and defenceless as a baby and that just works. Taking them seems easier than stealing candy from a baby, and they will not cry loud if you do it. Some men will want to protect them, some fix them, other yet take advantage of them and fuck, abuse and violate them senseless. They work for almost everyone. Only female Libra can match this with well-choreographed act. Generally, Pisces and Libra are probably best signs for women, Sagittarius, Aquarius and Cancer are somewhat close next. 

There are however two things that works against female Pisces. One is feminism and social expectation to act tougher; these things can sometimes ruin them as they will listen to the people with authority and force themselves to act against their nature. Second is different planet placements in natal chart. Pisces border Aries, so any planets there can if not ruin the feminine appeal, then severely damage it. Such problem is far less pronounced for someone further away from that sign.

For a man, Pisces is as much of a problem as Cancer is. Both signs are often too feminine to appeal to women. Unlike Cancer however, Pisces sometimes can pull off a complex act to win themselves a girl but keeping it up can be hard on them. Homosexuality can be an answer for them as much as it is for Sun in Cancer males. Here again other planet placements can sometimes be of help when dealing with women, but they equally can be further detriment as well. Just because you have some planets in Aries does not mean guaranteed win, just as much as it can be a loss for a female. Some combinations of planets clearly work better than others.

As for Pisces place in bigger structure, then I already mentioned that Pisces is water mutable sign. It is of course last of both of these types. As last water sign, Pisces kind of perfects appeal to people around them skill. They can fit into many different groups with vastly different characteristics. That will make them good spies or undercover agents.

As a mutable sign, they let others lead them, which fits well with their overall character. You might even say that mutable is natural polarity for a water sign. Compare that to Gemini who can fickle out of anything at any time.

Pisces is supportive, compassionate and supportive sign, that likes to help others and able to fit into almost any role. Pisces is the most definitive submissive masochist of all signs.

Aquarius in Astrology

 

It cannot rain all the time, even after darkest night, comes sunrise. After the hard and dark times finally comes relief. Aquarius the water bearer, brings that relief to the world, tired of harsh Capricornian winter. Seasons wise it is still winter, but days are now getting longer, and end is in sight.

In agricultural world of temperate European climate, Aquarian period is just a continuation of winter. However, in the much more arid and warm lands of fertile crescent and Egypt where both human civilization and astrology begun it is time for preparation for the next agricultural season. Before something can be grown on barren Egyptian soil, it has to be fertilised. To that end it has to be flooded with water from Nile. To do that a complex irrigation system is needed. A job for a smart and crafty water engineer.

From his role in Ancient Egypt comes Aquarian role in a society. Aquarius is the last of three Air signs, he completed the work that Gemini begun by collecting knowledge and inventing new advanced things. Libra then further refined these works; tweaked them, tested them, polished away imperfections and rough edges and so on - all in all converted Gemini's rough prototype into a shelf ready product. After that finally comes Aquarian role to bring final product into the world and implement changes for all to marvel and enjoy. It is due to this role astrologers call Aquarius humanitarian and compare him to Prometheus.

I cautioned about simplifying Uranus to a role of Prometheus in my previous articles. Uranus is more than that. Uranus co-rules Aquarius together with Saturn but there are certain differences between sign and its ruler. 

That said comparing Aquarius to Prometheus makes more sense than equating Uranus with it. One might be forgiven to think that society will welcome their savior with the open arms, but often that is not what happens. You do not need to look back at history to notice this problem. I will give you an example of three accomplished Aquarians and the reputation they acquired while implementing essential changes.

Franklin Delan Roosevelt pulled the United States out of Great Depression, authorised megaprojects that advanced society a great deal forward and then led the county to victory in WWII, dying in office just mere month before final victory. One might think with such a record, public surely acclaimed him to the sky. Turns out no, many conservative opponents could not stop reviling anything he done as destruction of everything America ever stood for. At every election Republican part would run a candidate who would promise to end everything FDR was doing and restore the US to how it meant to be.

If you think that its peculiar Republican problem and Dems are not like that at all, then there is another distinguished Aquarian, this time from the right, Ronald Reagan. Reagan won Cold War, destroyed Berlin World and USSR, He brought democracy and freedom to many people across the globe. From chaotic 70s, US emerged as global power. Despite these achievements left have consistently hated him for something. Even now you can occasionally see cartoons, mocking his achievements as insignificant and blaming him for something they refuse to even specify.

Last, but not the least is Boris Yeltsin from Russia. He navigated complex Soviet collapse and salvaged what was left of the USSR into a modern Russian Federation. From empty shelves of late 80s and constant ques to buy even basic good such as loaf of bread under the communists, Yeltsin took Russia to stores full of goods. He also made, foreign travel, media and election free. Compared to monk like ascetism under communists, 90s were full of goods and fun stiff. Yeltsin's legacy however is forever mired by red flag waving, saliva spitting, raving mad commies who insist that USSR did nothing wrong and Yestin plundered the county with oligarchs, without explaining how come there were more goods in stores after the plunder compared to before.

Finally, if you are not yet convinced, there is also Abraham Lincoln. One might think that by now no one will criticize the guy who abolished slavery, but even now there are plenty of Confederate flags in the south and some say civil war was about some opaque "state rights". 

In all four cases vested interests, burned by Aquarian reforms somehow survive to keep bashing the reformer long after they died. That indeed sound like a Legend of Prometheus where gods punished him for stealing their fire and sharing it with people. Nonetheless Aquarius means that divine fire is coming, and it will illuminate the world like nothing before.

Considering how many enemies Aquarians tend to gather when they try to bring forth their reforms, it's no surprise that a lot of false traits attributed to this sign, that come from their critics. Alas sometimes even experienced astrologers repeat these claims. Stereotypes associate Aquarius with chaos, upheaval and other negative traits. Such claims are easy to dispute if you just listen to how any of them speak. Does that sound chaotic to you? Sounds very human actually, much more than many other politicians out there. Aquarians are honest people who do wish to do good, even if it not always works.

That said Aquarius is a fixed Air sign. Fixed character makes them inflexible and unwilling to compromise and adjust their views or policies. Air element makes them intellectually detached, aloof and rather emotionless. That is possibly the reason some dislike them. 

In that regard they Aquarians are the opposite of Capricorn, whose professed concern for women, children and elderly often make many people overlook their downright cruelty and nonsensical views. In contrast Aquarius is real humanitarian who sees systemic problems and actually wants to fix them, but not always able to communicate that well. 

Both Aquarius and Capricorn are ruled by Saturn, though Aquarius is also ruled by Uranus. However, if Capricorn gets the self-protective cruel side of that god, then Aquarius gets the realistic, a be it cynical, dark and bleak view on reality. Such an outlook makes them few friends, but it allows them to actually do something about the problems. After all you cannot solve the problem if you refuse or unable to see there is a problem in the first place. Aquarians both see the problem and willing to do something about it. 

That is something I can relate to, as I keep talking about real issues the society and particularly young people face and often stumble upon deaf and blind people who act like everything is finer and blame the messenger for bad news. A very Capricornian behavior to bury head in the sand and pretend that everything is fine. As Pluto now moves from Capricorn into Aquarius, we see a shift from this ostrich behaviour to actually talking about issues and doing something to fix them.

Another thing Aquarius is not, is its polar opposite sign Leo. Leos make good electable leaders because they can appeal to many different people. However juggling interests of all these people can be a taxing process that prevents anything from being done. Compare to Leo Aquarius is divisive. They take a side and fight for it. Overcoming opposition with the focus on the objective they have in mind. That too makes them unpopular with people.

Broadly speaking Aquarius possibly represent Air sign nature better than Gemini or Libra. Geminis often get lost in experiences, travel and gossiping, while Libras spend too much doubting everything around them while balancing and perfecting things. Aquarius however carries through with their civilising mission to bring humanity closer to stars and further away from wild depravity, that some other sings relish.

Personality wise Aquarians tend to be on the quiet side. They like intellectual pursuits and intellectual games such as chess. They also like technology. They do often have radical and innovative views on certain issues, but they communicate their views in very civil and orderly manner. You can see they are not the firebrands that just want to see the world burn but rather people who thought a lot about the issues before arriving to the opinions they now hold and defend.

Aquarians however have friends they value a lot. 11th house, associated with Aquarius is the house of friends. Aquarius does gather likeminded people around them and together they work to create the change. To be friends with Aquarius you need to share their interests and views.

If not involved in social change, Aquarians will likely be involved in creation of new technology. Both my Aquarian friend and my Aquarian grandpa liked technological things a lot. They collect tech as well; grandpa had a huge collection of both players and records to play that took most of space in his apartment. Friend had a gaming laptop and a gaming console in otherwise near empty home. Both worked in a technological field as well.

Because of that, Aquarians can make good engineers, programmers, scientists and so on. Generally, a work with technology and objects is much more suitable for them compared to work with people. They can communicate with colleagues, but not with clients. Something that was written in one of my psychological tests but also applies to Aquarians as well.

When it comes to romance Aquarian men are often seen as problematic. Their partners complain they lack romantic interest and too busy with their hobbies and friends. Despite all that they often able to find and retain partners and even able to have their pick of mates. Something, Virgo and Taurus will be very jealous about. For all their willingness to do anything to get laid, they get rejected and next to them a guy with libido of Lloyd from Code Geass building harems.

Aquarian females are devoted, loyal and obedient to their husbands. They too get a lot of bad rep from other females who are jealous of their seamlessly effortless popularity with men. Wife of famous rock star, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, is Aquarius. Many blamed her for destroying Beatless and what not. She hardly did anything of sorts I say Linda McCartney was behind this rather unwarranted smear campaign. I too can relate to John Lennon's love for Aquarian Japanese women; both of us are Libras who have rather close birth dates. Great minds think alike.

Finally, about Aquarius role in the bigger picture. Aquarians lay the groundwork on which future will be built. Just like floods in Ancient Egypt served the irrigation purposes that later allowed people to grow crops on fertilised land, Aquarians lay the foundations on which future civilization will be built on. This is important work that allows us to see glimpse of the future that is waiting for us.

Aquarius is the last fixed sign and last Air sign. After him there is only nostalgic Pisces before zodiacal completes its circle and gets back to its starting point in Aries. From the Aquarian blueprints Aries will later forge the future for all of us.

Finally, water is one of the most essential substances needed to support life. Aquarius is one who provides the lifeline to the people in the dark cold winter times. Often, it's not a help to the door, but a systemic change that will unlock the help and free people from privation and misery, brought about by the conservative vested interests, defended by Capricorns.

Aquarius is social and technological reformer. The change he brings advances society and civilisation to a new level and improves lives of majority of people often at expense of privileged minority who later forever hate them for that.

Capricorn in Astrology

 

Capricorn makes curtain call on Sagittarian party and ends all the fun. It is an unfortunate signs, that even people who are born under do not like and prefer to be something else instead.

Capricorn opens with winter solstice, the darkest and coldest period of year. In agricultural world it is now dead winter. Everything comes to a halt and waits for the new year ahead. It is the most hard and unfortunate period in year. Too cold, too dark, nothing grows, no food if you have not saved enough from the last harvest. One needs to be a literal monster to thrive in a period like this. Capricorn is that kind of monster.

Capricorn sometimes simply called goat. Some pictures simply show a goat, much like those for Aries show ram. That is however incorrect: only front side of Capricorn is goat, at its back is has fish tail and middle section is something akin to a serpent or eel. Not the same components as Chimera but as convoluted and messed up. You can't help but wonder how a creature like this could possibly live. Capricorns are unnatural abominations. They do not like things others find enjoyable and things they like and do are much unlike the rest of the zodiac. 

If you were to summarise Capricorn in one word, it will be survivalist. Not all of them build nuclear strike proof bunkers in their backyards, but all of them tend to prepare in various ways for worst things to come. Most of these preparations are useless in real life. What are the chances you will end up on an inhabitant island or in Amazon jungles and will have to survive there. Capricorns not only learn these things themselves what to do in such situations but also teach this to their children. 

Capricorns like children but they are rather harsh and cruel parents. They survivalism gets the best of them and they push their children to do a lot of hard things, erroneously believing it will help them later in life. Capricorn style parenting is close to Chinese style parenting. Unlike Chinese however Capricorns treat girls a lot better that guys. Girls get spoiled privileged treatment, while guys had to deal with harshness and cruelty. I pity all male children who had to deal with it.

In the end however most Capricorns fail their children, because "skills" they teach cannot compete with connections and unfair advantage that other parents provide for their kids. Capricornian upbringings sets their children to harsh life of exploitation by their employers and wife or cynicism and disillusionment with society.

In addition to Children, Capricorns also like elderly. They are the sign that tend to respect experience and thinks that old people deserve special privileges and broad respect from society. That is something they share with fellow Earth Signs of Taurus and Virgo.

Capricorns do not enjoy creature comforts as much as other signs do. They feel content with basic things and Spartan conditions. Some even go as far as abhorring creature comforts as decadent and weak. Even on their vacations they go to places so inhospitable, that someone like Cancer or Libra downright will refuse to go even if you pay them a lot of money.

Capricorns are also very stingy with money. Unless its health or other few issues they find important, they will spend as little as possible. Even if they have a lot of money to spend, they still cling to every penny out there.  

Capricorns like sports, they think active lifestyle is good for health and pursue it. Despite being very stingy, they likely spend a lot of money of gym and other sport equipment. 

Finally health is a major obsession for Capricorns. That is something they share with Virgos. They will eat some weird mix of seeds with some weird shit, called muesli, because they believe it is healthy and prolongs their lives. Producers of these dodgy "healthy" foods things make billions off these gullible hypochondriacs. So long as you advertise it as healthy, they will almost guaranteed to buy it.

When it comes to work, Capricorns are best known as work-a-holics of zodiac. Capricorns are willing to work more and harder than others, often in the harsh conditions. They are also willing to take and do any work. Broadly speaking Capricorns make ideal employees in the eyes of their bosses. This is why some astrologers call Capricorns ambitious rank climbers. In reality Capricorns have low self-worth and work so hard to win validation from their superiors. They are sycophants.  

As bosses themselves, Capricorns are your typical boss from hell. They expect the same work-a-holism from their subordinates as they show themselves. Some like Virgos, Pisces and possibly Tauruses can be OK with that. However most people will not put up with that and quit their jobs or hate their boss if its bad economy and its hard to find a different job with a different boss.

Finally colleagues typically do not like Capricorns. They are more of people who push others to work harder rather than those who do lion's share of work for the team. However in certain situations Capricorns can indeed pull the entire team with their own effort, thou unlike Leo they will not be too manganous about it.

The worst thing about Capricorns however is that they are simps. They worship women, excuse them any shitty behavior and generally willing to do anything to please them. Needless to say that attracts bad selfish women who all too happy to use Capricorns to their advantage serve their selfish self-interest. "It is always a woman that leads the man astray."

Broadly speaking Capricorn's fellow Earth Signs of Taurus and Virgo as well as possibly Cancer are of the same attitude towards women, but they are far less capable of serving as accessories to ambitions of such women. Thus their heel licking behavior does not affect anything beyond their own sex and family life.

Capricorn on the other hand capable of corrupting almost anything they touch in service to these evil women. If left unchecked, this will destroy the very fabric of society, like what we see now. Our post financial crisis of 2008 austerity mess is a result of the corruption caused by Capricorns and women they serve. Period between 2008 and 2024 was period of Pluto in Capricorn.

I already wrote plenty of articles on how Pluto in Capricorn period is horrible so I will not repeat myself here. Needless to say it is long overdue for someone like Aquarius to step up, bitch slap women into submission and fix society from the damage they have done. Woman's place is in the kitchen and bedroom, they should not be listened to, much less obeyed, but rather gagged, fucked and forced to make sandwich and clean toilets.

Because of the above, when it comes to dating, male Capricorns have their pick of evil witches, whom most other men will not want to touch with a yard stick, other than to kill them of course.

Female Capricorn is either a gold digger or a girl-boss. Only fellow Earth Signs could tolerate someone like that. May be such women only exist because otherwise Taurus and Virgo will not be able to get laid. 

Some astrologers like to call Capricorn natural leaders. That does require further clarification. Capricorn can be a leader, but they are different kind of leader compare to Leo. Leo is a democratic style leader who wins their power from people around them, who elect Leos to lead and represent them. In contrast Capricorn is autocratic style leader who delivers his power from those above him, not those around or below him. No one in their sane mind, with exception of possibly Tauruses, Virgos or Pisces will vote for a Capricorn to lead them. On their end Capricorn could not lead in a way that would make followers approve of them. They are too much fixated on goals set by their superiors and will wilfully ignore problems and complains of those below them. They do not care if you cannot do it, as far as they concern its their bosses who matters.

Capricorns occasionally become national or state leaders. Examples include Richard Nixon in the US and Joh Bjelke-Petersen in Queensland, Australia. Both are infamous for going down in a huge corruption scandal that shook the structures of government and society. It was Watergate for Nixon and Fitzgerald Enquiry for Joh.

Broadly speaking Joh is possibly the most typical spherical Capricorn in vacuum. So called "hillbilly dictator" he wished to abolish free speech, repressed protesters with violence, took bribes, claimed to work so hard he only slept 4 hours a day and was a simp to his wife, Flo. He rigged the jury in his favor and because of that was not convicted for his crimes despite lengthy trial that left judicial system exhausted.

Broadly speaking on personal level, Capricorns reject the Libra's style justice that is prevalent in liberal democracies. Joh wished to altern fundamental rules of Australian liberal democratic society, but did not had enough power to do so. Capricorn's alternative (in)justice system is a mix jungle law with some protections for women, elderly and powerful. Capricornian (in)justice is practiced in well developed dictatorships as it justifies all sorts of abuses, the dictator may wish to inflict, while shoring up their power by labelling opposition to tyranny as immoral. Capricornian corrupt (in)justice system is essentially victim blaming, mixed with kiss up kick down mentality. It shields powerful and privileged from accountability and responsibility.

To enforce its (in)justice, Capricorn sometimes resorts to religion. Capricornian version of religion often has evil strict god, that punishes any violations of "divine" law. Of all versions of Christianity, the Eastern Orthodox is the most Capricornian one as it puts emphasis on eternal damnation of hell for sinners and violations of 10 commandments. It also glorifies monastic live with its ascetism, self-denial and glorification of suffering and Spartan conditions.

Also a religion can allow Capricorn to deliver authority from god and rule over society that is too afraid of this fictional god. Without such religion and superstition fear it is hard to imagine Capricorn being able to win power in a fair competition from people.

Finally some information about Capricorn's role in bigger picture of the zodiac. Capricorn is the last cardinal sign of the zodiac. Capricorn opens the final chapter of astrological story, that of death and transformation. Transformation will later be handled by Aquarius once Capricorn destroys what is left of the world and society. I wish we could just skip to the part where Aquarius destroys the regime and fixes everything.

Capricorn is located polar opposite of Cancer. As I wrote in Cancer's own article, Cancer is warm, welcoming and supportive signs, that gets people together and helps them relax and grow. Cancers nurture people and society, allow them to become all what they can be. 

Capricorn is the opposite of that, they are harsh, stingy, spiteful and cruel. That eventually leads towards everyone leaving them for something or someone better. Despite that Capricorns fool themselves into thinking that what they do somehow makes people stronger, even though all their efforts do it make people weak, tired, hateful and sometimes downright kill them.

Capricorn is also the last Earth Sign. Despite begin so wrong on many things and different from the most of zodiac, Capricorns tend to get a lot of support from fellow Earth Signs, who often rally behind Capricorn as their leader. Taurus and Virgo are much more mild, peaceful and far less dangerous by themselves, yet they often willingly become part of Capricorn's zealots army to bring forth their extreme agenda.

Capricorn is a sign with very unnatural view on reality that causes great deal of harm to people around them and society as whole. I advice to keep them away from power at any cost.

Sagittarius in Astrology

 

Just when you thought that you have seen all sorts of signs: beasts, humans, even virgins and thought astrology could no longer surprise with anything, it brings in Sagittarius: half man, half horse with a bow. Before Capricorn corrupts everything and destroys society, there one last sign, last party and last round of drinks before the club closes. 

Sagittarius is the last sign, before winter solstice in the northern hemisphere. That does reflects on its role in the zodiac as someone who closes the season with one last grand encore performance.

In agricultural world all work is now finished and there will be no more work or any extra food until Aries opens next season in late march. It is time to celebration, but also reflection and possibly even a move for a new greener pastures. It is not yet too cold and wintry in Southern Europe or Northern Middle East, so you can still get away from it all and travel somewhere else in hopes of better life. Back in the days of serfdom there was so called Yuriev Day period, where a serf could move between landlords. It was somewhat earlier than astrological period of Sagittarius but that is because Russia is colder and winter comes earlier. 

Like Aries and Leo before it, Sagittarius is also a fire sign. The last fire sign that completes the elemental trio. In certain ways Sagittarius is wisest of the three, final evolution of the fire nature and energy. 

If Aries is cardinal, Leo is fixed then Sagittarius has last possible modality, mutable. Unlike the other two who are more self driven and rooted in their ways, Sagittarius is much more flexible and adaptive. They adjust themselves to fit the surroundings and appeal to the people around them.

On zodiacal wheel Sagittarius is located opposite of Gemini, with whom they share love for travel and experiencing different things in life. There is difference however, if Gemini travels to see and learn more, collect knowledge and interesting things and then finally brings it back, the Sagittarius wants to just get away from it all. They are stiffened by the rules of ever encroaching society and want to break free and do what they want.

Being half man, half beast, Sagittarius could bridge the divide between human and animal sides of zodiac. Their skill with words will appeal to verbose human Air signs and their ability to feel and understand emotions will resonate with the rest of the zodiac. 

As you can guess from the above, Sagittarian role in a society is rather diverse. They are travellers, philosophers, religious figures, entertainers and many more. Look at Boris Grebenshchikov from Aquarium band, who did all of that over the course of his life. Generally he makes for a good example of spherical Sagittarius in vacuum. For a female example, I have former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Timoshenko, She is classy, knows how to dress with style, but also lively and interesting. Unlike Hillary Clinton, she knows how to girl and appeal to men who are not into femdom.

As I already mentioned, Sagittarius likes to travel far to get away from it all. That is something I myself can relate to, having migrated from Russia all the way to Australia. I have two planets in Sagittarius, Uranus and Saturn.

Sagittarius is also a philosopher, not all philosophers are Sagittarians but many indeed are. Sagittarius the first sign, ruled by king of Gods, Jupiter (Zeus). Signs from Aries all the way to Scorpio are ruled by inner planets, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Sun and then the first three again in the opposite order. Sagittarius bring is new planet, new god and new way of looking at things. Something very fitting for a philosopher who is meant to advance knowledge and self-awareness. My own interest in philosophy possibly also come from Sagittarian planets in my natal chart. 

Here Sagittarius completed work of Gemini, if Gemini collects all sort of knowledge and data without making too much sense of it all, Libra then analyses this data, finally Sagittarius could summarise all this information and present it to public in a digestible enough way, that they understand it. 

That is probably why Sagittarius sometimes associated with a religion. Ancient people were not smart enough to understand natural phenomena for what they were, so Sagittarius could wrap them into images of gods who do this or that to make people if not understand than at least act in a smart way.

That said Sagittarius is far from being conservative, dogmatic, devout god fearing follower. They are all but opposite to that. They could be a charismatic priest however, or start and lead doomsday cult or something like that.

Finally an entertainer, Sagittarius likely could sense the feel and mood of the crowd no less than Leo. However Leo already hogged up all the leadership roles, so more humble Sagittarius has to settle for second best, be a celebrity instead. They can be actors, they can play in the band, they can be fun, entertaining and even witty. Listen to Aquarium lyrics, you never know if they are deep and profound or downright mad, but they do feel like author knows something wise and tries to tell you that. That makes them curious to ponder about.

When it comes to dating both male and female Sagittarians have rather good prospects. Male would only be second/third to fellow fire signs. While mutability will make them less strong will and decisive than fellow fire signs, that can at the same time open other opportunities with women who have different tastes.

Normally fire is masculine but since Sagittarius is mutable, it can sometimes work for a female as well. Female Sagittarians are more humble and accommodating towards man, than other fire signs. That can help them win male approval. They are more adaptive as well. TrueHellDei have a lot of Sagittarius placements in her natal chart, that can give you an idea how well that can work. Finally more about Sagittarian role at a closure of the season. That comes from experience. late 90s and early 2000s (Pluto in Sagittarius Era) were good times where life looked happy and optimistic while problems seem too far to care about. Looking back at it now it was naive. That prosperity and happiness was build on borrowed money and unsustainable spending.

Nonetheless it was time when we could live normally as we wanted to, not as we had to. Sagittarius could squeeze out last juices of the dying system to make everyone happy. You could migrate to a better country. You could pursue whatever career you want, make money, buy home and sort out your life. Technology advanced at break neck speeds, making video games bigger and better every year. You could be whatever you want to be, it was nearly dreamtime.

It was also a pinnacle of sorts as well. Many aspects of life were perfected and taken to the maximum of their capacity. Kind of like director's cut movies or definitive editions of games, we got a definitive edition of life, as good as it could possibly be. That was a stark contrast to shit that came afterwards. 

Sagittarius is traveller, entertainer, philosopher and many more. They are people who try to take everything to maximum or at least make life just a little bit better, if only for a bit. They are also surprisingly humble for a fire sign. A very underappreciated sign in my opinion.

Scorpio in Astrology

 

After Libra created the justice system, there is now need for those who will enforce it. Welcome Scorpio, sign of police, security and even defence force; to sum it up: a guardian.

In agricultural world harvest ended, all grain is accounted for and stored in a safe place. Now that place that needs someone to guard it from thieves, pests and any other problem that could damage it. Guarding granary was first role for Scoprio. All their future roles deliver from that one.

Scorpio is a second sign that is ruled by Mars, first was Aries. That gives them both a martial character, but of a different kind. Aries is conqueror, explorer, coloniser, slaver, exploiter. Aries expands, constantly brining more land, slaves, cattle and other things to the country or at least tries to. In contrast Scorpio does not bring anything new, Scorpio defends what is already exists. Both functions have their uses.

 

In modern society, that long explored and conquered all there was to, there are now little to do for Aries but plenty for a Scorpio. In most countries military is now called defence force rather than conquest force, clearly indicating that it is more suitable for Scorpio raqther than Aries types. That said Aries could still find military enjoyable, sometimes there are expeditionary wars too.

Scorpio personality traits are directly influenced by their martial role. Other astrologers often call Scorpio, vengeful and dangerous if you betray their trust. In martial law and military ethics, loyalty is highest virtue while betrayal of one's nation is called high treason and punishable by death. Scorpios unconsciously bring these ethics to civilian life as well. Because of that they sometimes have trouble adjusting for much laxer civilian understanding of duty and obligations as mere suggestions rather than rules.

Another trait, astrologers typically attribute to Scorpios, is their ability to sense other people's character by merely looking or talking to them a little bit, a rather supernatural trait, kind of like spider sense. As someone who has three planet stellium in Scorpio I can confirm that, sometimes I do get strongly negative feel about a person who barely even talked to me. 6th sense just persistently tells me they are a trouble. Most of these are 6th sense revelations are negative in character: every so often I assume the worst things of people I just randomly see on streets. These assumptions however feel a lot more than mere conjectures, something just tells me I am right about them. Far not everyone triggers these revelations, most just pass with no detectable trouble or ill intentions, but enough people trigger it to get rather negative view on humanity.

Another thing astrologers attribute to Scorpio is their extreme value of privacy and secretiveness. Once again I have enough planets in Scorpio for that to apply to me as well. I use pseudonyms, many emails and often check around to make sure no one is watching what I am doing, especially if its something important like passwords for online accounts, especially banking ones. 

When it comes to publicity Scorpio is opposite of Leo, Leos like attention and Scorpios prefer to stay in shadows. That is due to above mentioned privacy and secrecy concern rather than insecurity or shyness. That does not mean Scorps do not like to rule, pulling strings from shadows is a Scorpio or Libra's way of doing things. 

Many astrologers also say Scorpios are secretive and have many secrets to keep. It is hard to ascertain whether this is true or not as Scorps are typically very good about keeping their secrets, but my money is on there are skeletons in their closets.

When it comes to Scorpio, rather than having Sun or Moon there, it is much better to have some other planet or planets in this sign. I knew several Sun in Scorpio people and most of them were too controlled by their emotions and lust. These things often got the best of them. Having something like Mercury in that sign instead will allow you to access positive traits and rare abilities Scorpio has without many strong emotional drawbacks of this sign.

When it comes to work, military, police or security will fit Scorpio rather well. That said Scorps make better soldiers and NCOs rather than offices or generals. Command and control is best left to Libras or Aquarians with their better planning abilities. Scorps could also be a legal adviser or even a lawyer who could figure out how to exploit law to the benefit of the company. Finally Scorpios could be an activist fighting for a certain cause or in a general sense an advocate for something or someone.

When it comes to romance, Scorps are rather skilled at it. They understand what to do to win someone over and are often good at pulling it over. That said Scorps are often dissatisfied with romance, because most other signs do not see loyalty as absolute as Scorpios do.

That said Scorp is more of an imitation rather than real thing, which can be both good or bad depend on your own disposition. While you can sometimes see that Scorp is not as macho as they make themselves to be you can also ask them to take act down when you not up to that. For more real people like Aries or Leo, anger is real too and cannot be stopped by asking.

Generally water signs are a lot more feminine than masculine, but Scorpio works a lot better for men compare to women. Men can play macho and what not to woo females, but they also retain common sense and can be good friends too. Generally Scorpio men has better idea when to behave what at any given time.

White female Scorps are one of the worst women in the world, unless you are into femdom. I can tell from experience with my mother, but there are also plenty of public figures. For example Hillary Clinton is a Scorpio and she is absolutely unappealing. Compare her to Sarah Palin for example, she may be stupid but she is much more girly and cute than Clinton.

On the other hand I know one Chinese female Scorpio and she is very shy quiet timid and cute. There is warmth and kindness in her eyes. She is completely opposite of what white female Scorpios are. Go figure how that works.

On a bigger picture Scorpio is a second water sign of zodiac, much like Cancer that I wrote about earlies. While more cold on the surface, Scorps are as emotional as Cancer. Scorps care about community and like to keep people together and united. 

Unlike Cancer, Scorpio is a fixed sign, like Taurus and Leo before them. That makes them much more rooted in their ways and unable to adopt or see different sides of the same issue. For Scorps world is black and white, divided into good and bad, heroes and villains. That makes Scorps very intolerant sometimes. That is different compare to say Pisces universal acceptance of everything of Libra's shades of gray gradient marking where everything it better than something and worse than something else at the same time. If Scorp will make AniList competitor, they will replace the numeric rating with just thumbs up and thumbs down.

Scorp is the last sign or autumn and the last of the second quartet. After Scorpio come transient signs of winter. If first quartet builds society and second organises and runs it, then third and final lives/survives and partly destroys it, benefiting from the work, done by the other two groups.

Scorpio is loyalist and defender, who can turn dangerous if you betray their trust. They can sense danger as well as character of people around them.

Libra in Astrology

 

Opposite of Aries, where it all began, lies Libra, where it all peaks. Signs that lie on the opposing ends of the zodiacal circle are like a mirror image of each other. They share same nature, but the way they approach life if polar opposite of each other. Opposite of forceful and energetic Aries lies cunning, witty and diplomatic Libra, who tries to get to the same heights as the ram, using negotiations. Not everything can be takes with vigor alone, thus when vigor does not cut it, what you will resort to: wit.

In agricultural world it is the time when harvest have ended. It is now it's time to separate wheat from the chaff, count the spoils, set some aside for planting next season, then estimate how much will be needed to last through the winter (in cold areas nothing grows in winter so you had to rely on what you could save from harvest), sell the rest. Finally, all of that has to be stored somewhere safe from thieves, rodents and other pestilence. If it all rots away or gets stolen mid-winter, then everyone will starve and possibly die. This is first, but not last, of Libra's roles in society, an accountant.

Libra is the next air sign after Gemini and it is again represented by a human rather than an animal. Nowadays scales are often depicted on their own, but traditional image was that of a man holding the scales. It turns out it is possible to one up even Gemini when it comes to rationality, intellectualism and detachment from instincts. Just like other second signs, Libra is a refinement of Gemini's energies and abilities. Gemini's endless curiosity and desire to constantly experience more and more gives way to a more sober refined compose paired with sharp analytical mind. Libra is the one who judges and decides, which of Gemini's inventions will go ahead and shape the future.

Now that society have taken shape with all the work of the previous signs, we are in golden age. However, by now society has become so large. With this many different people living side by side, disputes between individual members start to emerge. To mediate these disputes, a law and a justice system is needed. That is where Libra comes in. 

Libra's objective and impartial nature makes them most suited for the role. A goddess of Justice famously holds a pair of scales in one hand and a sword in the other. That is not a coincidence as Libra has unique connection to legal system. Most likely most laws and legal systems was originally written by Libras. In a democracy there is division of power, if Leo is executive then Libra is legislative and judicial. 

Libra is a judge is most wide meaning of this world. It can refer to a formal legal system. Libras can make good judges and lawyers. They are smart enough to navigate complex legal language and impartial enough to deliver sound judgement or represent interests of different parties in court. Finally, Libra's mannerism and penchant for ceremony and formality more than suited for courtroom.

However, it does not have to be a formal legal system. There are many other far less formal situations that need some mediation. Different people within organisation pursue different agendas and sometimes these agendas clash with each other. Libras with their objective look on reality can help navigate such situations and reach a solution that is best for the most people involved.

There is also general decision making that require sound judgement. What colour paint the building? Where to build a new road? Whether open a new branch in certain town or not? Two different people propose different projects, which one is the best? Many more. 

Sure, many people can make decisions, but how good these decisions will be. Some will just decide on emotion or favour their friends. Libra's impartial and objective mindset will help make decisions that are objectively better and avoid embarrassing failures down the line.

There is also overreaching effect on the whole society. Every day a lot of new trends, ideas, businesses and such are being created. Some stand test of time and others disappear as fast as they emerge. Libras do play role in that as well, either preserving things they like or taking down those they do not. There are certain other groups that compete in that role with Libras, trying to push alternative vision instead.

Libras judge things based on meritocracy, objective value and facts. Libras do not entertain ethical or moral grounds. No matter how ethical your business is how much effort you put in it, Libras will call it shit if it makes poor products.

Libras do tend to reward things they consider proper and praiseworthy. That is why some say Libras make world a fairer place. Libras give credit where its due, do not forget those who did them good and so on. That will make Libra a good manager. That also makes many people think that Libras are not as selfish as they really are.

That work in reverse as well. Libras rarely hesitate to criticize or even condemn things they do not approve. That will cause tensions with people who do not take objective criticism well, or praise people to not hurt their feelings. Libras can word criticism politely, but will not compromise on content and call white, black because someone says so. Finally, if Libras truly abhor something, they will seek to remove it from existence.

If you wonder why all of that for, then the answer is to make world a better place. Not in superficial hippy sense of caring for some trees, Africa or what not, but in very practical hands-on assessment of quality of goods and services we use daily. You need sound judgement to tell a bad idea from a good one, bad product from a good one and so on. To do that you need someone who can judge based on merit. 

Our current world suffers from lack of good judgement. Bad ideas are going ahead, while good ones are buried behind moralistic or emotional appeal. Corrupt deals shovel better things for the ones with more financial backing. Logical fallacies ran amok and entrench abuse and inequality. Crap gets sold because creators pay for advertisement and so on.

Why is it bad when someone pays for good reviews and promotion. Because we all suffer from it. Instead of getting quality product we are getting subpar shit. Even a person who took money in the end of the day is left in the world full of subpar crap approved and promoted by people as unscrupulous as them. Every time a new thing you bought fails your expectations, food tastes like crap or new movie is insufferable shit like later seasons of Game of Thrones, you have these corrupt unscrupulous gatekeepers to blame. Robust quality assurance is needed if we want a society with quality stuff in it.

When another Hollywood or Netflix movie disappoint, new videogame is trash, and new music can hardly even have melody in it, know that it is because there are not enough quality assurance and corrupt deals run amok.

Aside from judgement, there is also administration. Scales are measurement tool, and Libras are not only good at measuring all sorts of things but also rather enjoy doing it. Someone else might find it boring, but not Libra. For example I write reviews for anime and other things, that is both judgement and measuring, both a vert Libran thing to do.

On a personal level, Libras like to indulge themselves in almost every meaning of this world. Libras like better things in life and detest base ones. Anything good, tasty satisfying, fulfilling and any other form of good, they want it. Libras like things to be tasty, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, convenient, useful, affordable and so on. Very common-sense needs.

Sometimes Libras take it a bit further and act like a compulsive perfectionist. Ideally Libras want everything in their life to be as perfect as possible. Libras can sometimes be surprisingly stubborn to get something to be exactly perfect, especially their relationships. That is why some astrologers recommend Libras to pursue career in art, or any other work related to aesthetics or design. 

When it comes to innovativeness Libras are on the middle ground between Gemini and Sagittarius who tend to try everything at least once and Taurus or a Cancer who stick with familiar and trusted. Unlike Gemini, Libras are not an early adopter. Instead, Libras wait until Gemini tries it first and then review their experience. That way Libras can avoid something less than good. I can also tie it back to the judgement theme: Libras judge what is worth their attention and what not, they adopt best of new stuff while keeping certain good things from the past.

However, it's not about judgement alone. After selecting best things to enjoy comes the main dish, indulging yourself in all that stuff. Libra is an ultimate consumerist. No one cares as much for the consumerist side of life as much as Libras do, sure others consume thing too, but they sometimes have other passions. Libras on the other hand is all about getting best things. Boring, but logical and reasonable. Something that a pure logical mind with no emotions or instincts will enjoy. The Libra has exactly that kind of mind.

That does make Libra somewhat too normal. Other signs have their quirks and passions, but Libra is cold detached and calculated. Aside from a consumerism and hedonism, there is little that motivates Libras. That puts many astrologers at a loss when it comes to describing Libras so they focus on the only thing Libras stand out with, romance.

Astrologers often misunderstand Libra in a sense they attribute certain Libran traits to wrong underlying factors. Few astrologers are Libras as this discipline appeal to more emotional signs more, particularly water signs and fire signs women. Libras are as complex as mathematical analysis. Someone who understands mathematical analysis can easily explain algebra or arithmetic, but someone who only gets arithmetic will not be able to make much sense out of mathematical analysis.

That said court hearing rarely becomes main plot of a movie or a fiction book. Thus, astrologers focus their writing on other things.

Many Astrologers assign Libras many dubious traits, like they like to please or will get out of the way to avoid conflict or that Libras are indecisive. There is also a believe that Libras are "social butterflies" that always relish company. Finally, there is the one that claims that Libras sleep around and have many partners over their lives. If you check many of the famous Libras, it can be easy to see that none of these ring true. Take for example Margaret Thatcher, Fredrich Nietzsche, Dwight D Eisenhower, Eminem or Kimi Raikkonen. Can you say any of that about any of them?

To begin with, equating Libra's judgemental and mediative nature with pacifism and avoidance of conflict is misleading. Libras just settle disputes because they are waste of time. Most conflict is a waste of time and effort. Some may enjoy observing or participating in mutual shouting and hurling insults, but Libras have no interest in such things and prefer to settle conflicts and move on to other things. Libras have no patience for bullshit like that. Also, Libras dislike stress and social drama is all stress and hardly any point. That leads Libras to curb it early.

Some say Libras are indecisive. That is not because Libras cannot make decisions but because it takes time to consider all aspects of the situation and arrive to an informed well analysed conclusion. Courts often do not decide cases on the first hearing but instead adjourn to continue sometime later. Certain complex cases can take years to decide with multiple hearings each year to progress the case. Libras think the same way, if they do not have information or cannot think of anything good, they can postpone decision to a later time. That too can drag out like a complex case. If you have no patience for that, then you will have hard time with Libras.

Libras like efficiency in all aspects of life in fact. It will always bug a Libra when something can be done easier, more convenient and faster but not done this way due to someone's stubbornness and backwardness. Libras also do not do things they consider pointless, even if not everyone agrees with them. That leads towards some people consider Libras lazy. This is not per se inaccurate, but Libras do not see it as their flaw. Criticizing Libra's laziness is pointless as they will not change no matter what you say to them. So, if you do not like lazy people, you should avoid Libras. I personally avoid anyone who criticizes laziness like a plague.

Libras attitude towards other people depends on placements of other planets. Libras can be introverted recluses, particularly if they have many Scorpio placements or Moon in Cancer, like I do. More generally, while female Libras are likely more inclined towards socialising, male ones gravitate towards Analysts from MBTI mindset. They like company of fellow analysts, but not so much of other types of people. Libra's politeness is also why for some people it is not apparent that a Libra dislikes them.

A little bit of politeness. Libras tend to follow various social courtesies rather scrupulously. That does not mean they like you or anyone, they just see no point in being rude, either intentionally or unintentionally. That is why some consider them people pleasers. Libras are just polite pro-forma ritual with little substance behind it. Internally however their motivations could not be more different. Virgos behave well because they do not want to inconvenience people around them. Scorpios because they do not want to stand out too much and get their asses in trouble. Finally, Libras do so because they think higher of themselves compared to others and feel like good manners reflect that on them. 

To give you an example, when Virgo sees rubbish, they would clean it because they want to contribute to community. Libra on the other hand will not touch trash with a yard stick if they can help it. They dislike the idea of touching filth and think it is beneath them and should be done by someone else. I too had problem with rentals over cleaning issue.

All that makes it hard for Libras to get along with either side of the divide. More wild Aries or Gemini would repel them with their lack of hygiene or manners. Milder Virgo or Scorp will prevent them from connecting due to vastly different mindset and way of thinking.

Finally, Libras do not like sport and outdoors. There are certain other astrological signs (Aries, Taurus or Leo) with surplus of energy who enjoy opportunities to use it, Libras are not one of them. For Libras any minimal effort is a tedious chore they will want to avoid. That is what leads to Libras being both efficient and lazy at the same time.

Some consciously want to procreate and have babies, others are just driven by emotion. Libras do not enter relationships for the sake of procreation or just to have someone to fuck or to be with. If Libras ever go into relationship, it's because the person interests them a lot and appeal to their rather high criteria. Libras are associated with love, but it is an indulgent, vain, wanton love of self-gratification and decadence. They are second sign, ruled by Venus. Libra's role in a society is to make its best "golden" age even better. Libra's both thrive under best conditions and could make best of themselves under them. In bad times Libra's simply close the shop and wait for the bad times to pass. We now live through these bad times, marked by a Pluto's transition through Libra's arch enemy, Capricorn. Pluto exited Capricorn for good only in November 2024 so it's still too early to tell if we finally turned the page on the Capricorn's era.

Despite its not being very apparent, Libra has a lot in common with fellow air signs. At first glance sophisticated and classy Libra hardly has anything in common with aloof, radical and uncompromising Aquarius or curious and fickle Gemini. Yet all three share common intellectual and artificial focus and can sometimes manifest traits of each other. Every sign can tap into traits of their fellow signs of the same element. So do not be surprised with Libras showing any Aquarian traits.
